Fitted with a high tension spring - the slinky will lower to the ground when weight is put on it. As the unwanted animals move their weight from the slinky to the feeder pole, the slinky rises and pushes their paws off, causing them to lose their grips. This is a very simple and effective deterrent. Use this device with pole mounted bird feeders and nest boxes.  Squirrel Slinky measures 20 inches in length and will attach to a pole 1-inch in diameter.
