Each apartment can be easily cleaned individually and they're constructed of rust-free aluminum to dissipate heat. All of the six apartments measure 9" wide at the front, 3" wide at the back, 6" deep, and 6" tall to give each martin family sufficient room. Drainage and ventilation holes throughout keep the nests fresh and dry and rails extend around the exterior to help keep . Plastic door stops are included to close the house off to squatter birds. These should be inserted when your colony migrates in the winter. Mount this house on the Heath - 15' Telescoping Martin House Pole sold separately.
