For maximum effectiveness, place the bath where the solar panel will be in direct sunlight, avoiding any shade. During the colder months, remove the solar panel and insert the included green resin panel for a traditional bath.
IMPORTANT!! In winter, the Solar Bird Bath Fountain's pump and panel must be stored in a dry and frost-proof environment. The pump must never be operated dry (out of water). Dry operation permanently damages the pump.
