impressive but ...

the duck box is impressive....its well built. solid, and heavy ....simple in design and seems built to last a long time....i was not pleased with the cleanout door design which is a full length slot on both sides of the front of the box that the face panel slides up into from the bottom, it was very hard to manage with much tight friction binding and requiring a substantial amount of force to overcome, so much force that i was afraid of the shallow edged slots being splintered away during attempts to force the door in and out....i will be sanding some material off the from sliding face panel before putting the box out for the ducks, but i shouldn't have to do that
