Well-constructed, tight joints, made of quality cedar.
I installed the Owl Box in my big oak tree in backyard. Looks great. I did have a little trouble with the top wood screw. There wasn't room for my electric drill, and it was hard to turn with just my hand. Bottom screw installed easily. I left town for 2 weeks, and when I returned, a red-bellied woodpeckers seems to have taken up residence. I was kind of expecting that though.

The two boxes I purchased look interesting on our property; one small owl or hawk box hung from a hundred year old blue oak, and a barn owl on a platform on the south facing side of our house roof. The small one was pre-assembled. The large one came with directions for assembly and fit together perfectly.
Have not had a chance to hang yet, too much rain. But, excited to have it!

we put our house up a month ago and in about 1 week we had an owl move in. hoping that we weren't too late for breeding but we'll see. service from the company was very friendly and it arrived fedex a few days after order. we'll be back for more stuff i'm sure as we so love feeding and watching our birds.
