Provide purple martins a place to colonize in your yard by offering the Birds Choice Starling Resistant 3 Floor-12 Room Purple Martin House.  The SREH (starling resistant entrance holes) is a tried and proven method for helping to eliminate the pesky European Starling. Tests have shown the entry holes are 99.8% effective in achieving this. This hole is cut to an exact height restricting starling entry but allowing safe entry for the Purple Martin which gives it a greater sense of security. The SREH Mansions come with all cool aluminum and stainless steel construction, reflective roof, ceiling panel for proper ventilation, porch dividers, hinged clean out doors, guard rails, top perch, and an all aluminum base plate. Each room 6 x 6.
 
The SREH Purple Martin House is available fully assembled or unassembled. 

House come with base plate adapter for mounting to pole.  Adapter will fit any pole with inside diameter of 1-1/2" or outside diameter of 1-3/8".

NO STARLINGS HAVE TRIED TO ENTER .THE MARTINS HAVE LOOKED IT OVER AND WENT TO ANOTHER HOUSE OF MINE. I HOPE SOME MORE WILL COME IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. WE HAVE HAD BAD WEATHER HERE IN WESTERN NEW YORK RAIN AND COOL.

We have used this exact model for the last 7 years and have attracted Martins every year with it in North Central Texas. we've hung plastic gourds from the side, hanging 2 on each side using the perch as a base and have had consistently good results filling all compartments and the gourds. We highly recommend this house for the first time Martin landlord. It's always a real joy each year when the Martins return in late February to early March in our part of Texas. The house is sturdy and has withstood several hard winters, heavy thunderstorms, high winds with no problems.
