Excellent product and excellent service,, should last a lifetime with minor upkeep...
This was my 3rd purchase of Martin houses. Each purchase was quality and what I wanted. Customer service is utmost amazing. They take the time to communicate and educate about the products. Thank you!
Before ordering, I was a little leery of the high price, but I ordered anyway because it looked very well designed. I found it to be well built, and heavier duty than I expected. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I thought the front to back gourd holes should have been pre-drilled at 13/32" instead of asking the customer to slightly enlarge the 3/8" pre-drilled holes. We had 4 purple martins visit the day after installation!

is a photo of the bird house. The purple martins are flying around it but they will want to wait until next spring to take up residence.
Purple Martin Deluxe Gourd Rack System with 12 SuperGourds
Hardware was great material! Aluminum was heavy wall square tubing. Plastic gords houses were somewhat pre drilled all on wrong sides?!? Was told to caulked the holes and drill new at dimple points? For $700 mind you.total lack of quality control for consumers.
Our order was easy to place and we received our Martin house in a timely manner. We set the pole in the fall and we are very anxious for the martins return in the spring :)
Haven’t received it yet!
We are thrilled with our gourds and rack system! The quality far surpassed our expectations. We had old style gourds that were flimsy and not easy to deal with. We get a LOT of wind and the system is holding up great. (Our old pole bent due to wind.) The ability to lower the rack is a great feature too. We have some spoiled purple martins! 💜
Very well constructed Purple Martin gourd house. Assembly was not difficult however the instructions can be significantly improved. They appear to be old xerox copies in black and white with pictures that are not in focus. I had real difficulty trying to figure out what was what. For the money I paid I would have expected something much newer and with more in-focus photos.
I am very pleased with the super gourds system. Easy to assemble, very well made. The gourds have a lot of room for the martins. Porches easy to assemble. The pully system makes it easy to raise up and down so that the nest can be checked. I have just put these up in February 2021 an I already have martins occupying all of the gourds. I also have put up a new martin house and they chose the gourds first. This is my first year to use the gourds. Highly recommend.
Installation a breeze, no birds yet.
Easy assembly and installation. Can't wait to get some Purple Martin's.
Looking forward to setting up the Martin house early spring. First time customer, Very nice customer service!! I’ll be purchasing again
I love my new Deluxe Gourd rack system. The packaging was great and everything arrived timely and undamaged. The materials are high quality. There is nothing flimsy here. The assembly is easy, instructions are clear. The guards are large and well made also. I could not be happier. I am looking forward to watching birds make this their home.
I would suggest two things. Perhaps you could have a related items when you purchase things. I figured outcast I needed a critter guard and a ground stake. I then had to go back and purchase those. Secondly, it would be helpful to post an assembly video on YouTube.
Excellent customer service after a back order.
Order process was pain free and quality of product is as stated. Since it for martins, haven't put it up but it looks simple. I'd buy again.
We love our new system. Was easy to assemble and birds were flocking to it in a matter of minutes after installation. We are able to clean the gourds annually, which is why we chose this system. We plan on purchasing another soon.
The system is easy to build and within 10 minutes we had Purple Martins checking it out. We have at least 1 pair living there.
We are so please with our purchase! The installation was very easy and the instructions were written very well. We got so lucky, the next day after we put ours up, Purple Martins arrived! This gourd system is wonderful! Constructed well, and very easy to use the pulley system to lift and raise the gourds. If you are debating wether or not to buy this system, do yourself a favor and purchase it! You will not be disappointed!!
This is exactly what we wanted. Jeff Cochran with Wild Bird Store was extremely helpful with the order and keeping me in the loop with delivery. I will definitely be doing business with Wild Bird Store in the future, wonderful experience.
Purple Martin Deluxe Gourd Rack System with 12 SuperGourds
We purchase these gourds about one year ago to replace the ones from a previous company, and we and the most important, the Purple Martins, loved them. The installation was straightforward, and the nest checking and cleaning after they left was easy too. For this reason, it is why I am purchasing another set for the 2020 season to replace the other house we have. I highly recommend these gourds to any PM enthusiastic, and I believe you will not be disappointed.
Absolutely love this house!
