Birds Choice Classic Feeder w/ Baffle and Pole

Product was as advertised and arrived in a timely manner.

Pretty happy with this feeder. Squirrels attempted to get to it first but epicly failed. 3 days later we had our first visitor, a Carolina Chickadee.

The only thing I am curious about is to see how it holds up over time. For the money, I would have expected it to be a smidge bit more refined, sturdier feeling. But so far so good. It's surviving an ice storm here in Dallas just fine.

I purchased these feeders before from WBU. Their only downside is if you place them within a squirrel's jumping span. They can figure out how to land on the top and hang with their feet to reach the feeder openings. Birds Choice should make a baffle at the top - then it would be perfect!

The bird perches are not tightly fastened to the feeder and one pulled away from the feeder at the top of the perch and I found it on the ground. Even gorilla glue has not worked to reattach it to the feeder.

I needed a new pole feeder and this looked like it would work for me particularly with the squirrel guard and domed top. It does restrict the squirrels from reaching the feeder from the pole but I saw a long jumper leap from a tree limb 5 feet away and land on the top. This squirrel had no success staying on the feeder after trying multiple times. But..I did see a squirrel on the feeder perches wrapped around the feeder and have no idea how it managed to get on the feeder itself. I chased it off but later found it had been chewing on a metal seed access opening. I also noticed the top is difficult to remove when adding more seed. One further item. The bird perches do not seem to be tightly fastened to the feeder and appear to be pulling away at the top of the perch. These are all little thigs but for the price of the feeder I would at least expect to see the perches fastened in a more rigid manner.

Bird house and holder are fine and dandy. I am not sure there is a such thingas a 5 star birdhouse experience Everythign was timely and came exactly as expected.

These sturdy bird feeders live up to their claim of being squirrel-proof, hold a lot of bird seed, are easy to fill, look nice and foil the squirrels every time.

I saw videos of squirrels trying to get to the bird seed in a Birds Choice Classic Feeder. The squirrels I deal with haven't even tried to climb the pole. They just forage on the ground for the seed that the birds spit out.

Excellent purchase! Easy to install, looks great and lots of frustrated squirrels. Oh, and the birds love it!

The bird feeder is not stable and fails to fit securely at top of pole. Either there is a part which was not included with the package, or there is a design defect. Please correct or explain what is the problem.

With the pandemic keeping our family at home, the arrival of your bird feeder has cheered our days. It has attracted a variety of birds, which we view with binoculars first and then try to identify on the internet. I can't think of a better project. Many thanks!

I'm going to spray the bottom section with a rust inhibitor, and hope that keeps it looking new for a while. Can't wait to start using it!

squirrels have not found it yet , hard to believe. I think the pole is filmsy . needs to be stronger.... It builds up condensation when it rains, the seeds will rot faster. That is not good...

This is our second Classic Feeder with Baffle and Pole. The first one was sturdy and deterred squirrels, so we were happy to be able to buy another. We recommend it highly. CS
