The classic feeder represents the inspiration for every squirrel proof feeder built in the last 20 years and is a handsome addition to any backyard. It features a large seed reservoir made from 6" diameter UV resistant polycarbonate with baked enamel coating to ensure years of dedicated use. This classic feeder has four aluminum feed ports and perches. Its simple design makes it easy to clean and refill, simply pop the top and pour more seed in. Translucent side panels means that you can quickly see whether the feeder needs to be refilled or not. It holds up to 1.2 or 2.2 gallons of seed. For the birds

The birds love it but the squirrels can’t get to it. The feeder’s smooth shape and the baffle cause the squirrels to give up!

This was very easy to put together. (Not true of all feeders.) Once it was up, the smaller birds easily found it and started to eat. However, I think they are not as fond of this one as they are of some of the other hopper-feeders--but because that could be my choice of food, and thus my error, I give the feeder a large benefit of the doubt. I would, in fact, probably buy another one.
