Mounting Notes: This platform works great as a ground feeder if you select the matching leg set option or attach to a 1" round pole with the mounting flange optional add ons. All you need is the 1" round pole( sold separately).

These feeders are made of recycled plastic which means they will last a lifetime even in the crazy Ohio weather. We have patio furniture made of the same materials and leave them outside all winter as we were told we could do. They have lasted 12 years plus are are still in mint condition. Clean and rinse them each spring with soap and water and they are literally “good as new”.

I have one exactly like the one I just purchased. Two observations though. There is no cap on the cross bar. All the seed would eventually fill the whole pole. The picture shows a cap but I didn't get one. Second , the mounting bracket is to small. It has a 1 1/4 OD. Most poles have a 1 3/8 OD mounting hole. Thus it doesn't fit. The mounting bracket should have a plate across the top. Without it the feeder would slide all the way to the ground. I like the idea of the the feeder and the material used. Thank goodness I had a previous one for parts.
