The American Barn 12 offers the long-lasting S&K design that you've seen so often. It's a barn with a country flair. It offers 12 compartments for a full-sized martin colony. The nesting area is textured , has a water dam, and shaped to allow quick water drainage.
Four apartments on the two main floors create eight roosts, each measuring 8.25" x 8.5" x 6" to host nesting martin families.
Additional attic apartments measure 6.25" x 6.25" x 6" to give even more roosting space.
Ventilated holes near the roof line and crescent-shaped, starling resistant entrances create a comfortable, safe dwelling.
Place a 1.9" (outer diameter) rope and pulley system pole (not included) through the center of the home for stability and a lofty showcase in your bird garden.

A called in order was handled by a very nice man - order received quickly - I had much trouble constructing the houses - fasteners were to small for the holes and would not hold - had to use straps and glue to accomplish - the roof had a set shape that had to be heated held in place by straps to install - had to glue roof also as the fasteners would not hold roof in place - the 2nd house had parts missing and a call was needed to replace - I would not purchase another S&K bird house----
Had a bit of a hard time understanding instructions but finally got it and birdhouse went together without a problem.
Easy to assemble
Had birds within the week
